Our solid steel Acme thread coop door worm drives are custom manufactured for our automatic chicken coop doors.
May be used for your own DIY chicken coop design. It provides a solid mechanism for operating your door.
Worm drive specifications:
- 5/8 inch solid steel Acme threaded worm drive
- 1/8 inch hole perpendicular to threaded rod for cotter pin insertion
- 5/16 inch hole drilled 1/2 inch into rod for motor shaft insertion
Drive nut and cotter pin included.
Drive nut will press fit into a 1 inch diameter hole drilled into wood.
